Dear football fans around the world!
It took me a while to inform you recently – and for the first time in a long time (!) – about news concerning the football book. I’ve ‘intervened’ a few times in the meantime. The plan was for everyone to decide for themselves who to give the book to. But I had to intervene. It was important to me that it continued soon. That’s why I asked three friends from different countries who were immediately on board. In the meantime, I was inspired by a film (more on that soon). Now the thing is running on its own again.
To be honest, I’m a bit behind with the reporting at the moment. The football book is a project close to my heart and, as you know, everyone involved is doing it 100% on a voluntary basis. But of course it takes time to conduct and publish interviews. For personal reasons, in addition to two jobs and further training, I haven’t been able to take care of it in the past few months. But now I’m getting back to it – stay tuned! Transparency is very important to me, hence this brief information.
PREMIERE: Audio interview with football book team member Mario Bast
Today I’m taking you on a premiere: For the first time in the history of football book reporting, you will find an AUDIO interview on my blog. I had the honour of welcoming Mario Bast from our international football book project team as my interviewee. Following Christy Grimshaw, he filled the book with football stories.

A big THANK YOU to the SpVgg Unterhaching, who kindly made their press conference room available to us for the interview! Here we see again: Football unites…
And now comes the PREMIERE – unedited and direct. KICK-OFF for my interview with radio sports reporter and football fan Mario Bast:
Have fun listening in!
Sportive regards
Lisa Blue
